Paul Rasmussen

Paul Rasmussen holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley and has over 30 years of experience as a software engineer in Silicon Valley.  Paul has worked for many years as an independent software development contractor and has a wide range of experience with many types of software projects.  For over 20 years, Paul was a contractor at the famed Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (now known as PARC, Inc.).  Paul was a key member of the team which created PARC's most financially succesful software project in recent years.  More recently Paul has been involved in PARC's Content Centric Networking project (CCN) which is an open source initiative to solve technical challenges presented by modern networking environments.  Among his many achievements in the software industry, Paul was a member of the team which created the first POSIX compliant version of the Unix operating system and a member of the software development team for the Sony Playstation 3.  Paul resides in Victoria BC, Canada.
